How long does the Arira take to heat up?

Allow 5-8 minutes for it to reach the required temperature.  A light will indicate when the steam is ready (you can use it sooner without steam if you wish).

Why a steam-press vs. a good hand iron??

• Many people simply prefer the ease and convenience of the larger (7-10x) pressing surface of our Arira digital steam presses. In some ways, it recreates the large steam press that dry cleaners use.  You can press a large surface in one shot.  Also, for people who holding an iron is difficult; the Aria is a great alternative.

Why digital?  Isn’t that complicated?

• The Aria is very easy to use. The digital part of the Aria is the PC board.  For the user, it is something they don’t see so it is no more complicated than a regular (non digital) steam press.  But in fact, by using a PC board instead of an analog thermostat, the Aria has much better temperature regulation, and will give years of trouble free service.

Do I need to use distilled water?

• No, the Arira 350SP works best with regular tap water. If you have really hard water, we suggest emptying the water tank after use.  This will ensure no settled water clog the unit.  For best results, always use clean fresh water.  Unsure, then distilled water is a safe choice.

Will the Aria work on a variety of fabrics?

• Yes, it will. With the new digital controller, it is as easy as pushing the up or down scroll button to select the correct fabric (and temperature).  When it reaches the required temperature, the light indicates you are ready to press.  It will press to a maximum temperature of 365ºF.

Why is there no steam coming from the unit?

• The temperature has to be set for wool, cotton or linen for the steam function to work.

Are the covers replaceable, and how easy is it to change?

What is the warranty on the Aria?

• The warranty is our Reliable™ limited one-year warranty
