HELP, MY BOILER IS LEAKING!
A leaking boiler might be a sign of a worn-out pressure cap which is an easy fix, or a sign of a larger issue. Before you do anything, please turn off and unplug your unit and wait for it to cool down. Once it has cooled, remove the pressure cap and inspect the gasket. If this has worn and the leaking seems to have originated from the top of the boiler, it is likely that the cap simply needs to be replaced. Please visit the Steam Boiler Accessories page on our website and purchase the correct cap for your unit:
CD365/4 – 3000IS model only
CD365/5 – 4000, 4100, 5000, 5100, 6000, 7000, and 7500 models
Please note that 8000, 9000, and 9500 models do not have a pressure cap since they have a direct water feed.
