Can I use distilled water?

• You cannot use 100% distilled water. The Tandem Pro is designed to work with regular tap water.

Why am I not getting any steam?

• Make sure the flow control on the front of the unit is not closed, turn to the right to open.

Why isn't my detergent feeding?

• Make sure the flow control on the front of the unit is not closed, turn to the right to open. In addition, make sure the switch for the detergent is on.

Why am I not getting anything released from my boiler?

• Make sure the hose is properly connected to the body.

Why is my vacuum not working? Make sure the vacuum is plugged into the unit.

• Check the switch to make sure it is on and check the fuse located on the back of the unit for the vacuum.

Why does my steam pressure drop off faster while I am using the vacuum?

• When using the steam function and the vacuum at the same time, the amp draw is too much. Therefore, the amp draw to the steam side is reduced, meaning it doesn't replenish steam as quickly. We recommend turning your steam flow down while using the vacuuming component or using the steam intermittently.

How hot is the steam being emitted from my Tandem Pro 2000CV?

• The steam temperature at the tip of the Tandem Pro is 250°F / 121°C

How big is the tank on the Tandem Pro 2000CV?

• The Tandem Pro includes a 5 L Water Capacity With a 2 L Detergent Tank for Optional Degreasing
• The Tandem Pro also features CSS Continuous Fill Technology. Simply refill the water tank when the water level is low and away you go.

How powerful is the Tandem Pro 2000CV?

• Our 6-bar (87 PSI) operating pressure and up to 56 gm/min steam output ensure outstanding professional results.

Can you steam and vacuum at the same time?

• The vacuum and the steam are designed to work together, but not at the same time. We recommend a quick vacuum to remove any loose dirt, then a deep steam clean followed by a last wet vac to remove any moisture.

How long is the Tandem Pro steam hose?  Can it go any longer?

• The Tandem Pro is equipped with a 9’ steam hose. This is the optimal length for steam.  Any longer and you will get too much moisture build up in the line. 

Does the Tandem Pro have a steam cleaning kit?

Does the Tandem Pro come with a warranty?

• The Tandem Pro comes with a limited lifetime warranty on the boiler tank part. All other parts are warranty from defect for one year.
